What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text records that a website stores in your browser and receives with subsequent requests.

Local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) are browser mechanisms that keep data only on your device. The website does not receive them automatically with every request.

What our website uses

Format: name — type — purpose — retention.

• bmuse.cart.v1 — localStorage — cart contents (models, sizes, quantity) so the cart persists between visits — until you empty the cart or clear site data in your browser.
• bmuse.fav.v1 — localStorage — list of favourite models — until you remove them or clear site data.
• bmuse.checkout.key — sessionStorage — a random key that prevents the same order from being submitted twice by accident — until the tab is closed or the order is placed successfully.
• bm_admin — cookie — the shop owner’s login to the admin area; never set for buyers — 7 days or until logout.
• bm_preview — cookie — code-based access to the website in closed preview mode; not set once the website is open to everyone — 30 days.

Cart and favourites records do not contain your name or contact details and are not sent to us until you place an order.

What we do not use

The website has no analytics, advertising or social cookies, pixels, browser fingerprinting or other third-party trackers. Photos and videos are loaded from Supabase servers without cookies.

Everything listed above is needed only for features you use yourself (cart, favourites, checkout), so no separate cookie consent is requested.

Payment service cookies

When you go to the payment page, the acquiring bank’s payment service indicated on that page may set its own cookies on its own domain — for example, for payment security. We have no access to them; their use is governed by that service’s policy.

How to clear or block them

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings (usually under “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data”). Your cart and favourites will then disappear.

In private (incognito) mode, data is kept only until the window is closed.

If you block browser storage, the cart will only work until the page is reloaded, and some features may not work fully.

Legal basis

Ukrainian legislation contains no specific rules on cookies. Where data stored in the browser makes it possible to identify a person, the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” applies. Our records are not used to identify or track visitors; how we process order data is described in the Privacy Policy.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
